I had the great opportunity of participating in the land acquisition, land use and design process, and the marketing and sales of two modern green homes near Colman Park.

New Construction High Efficiency Modern Homes in Squire Park

I worked with 4 SEASON builds, LLC (4Sb) to acquire an L-2 lot in Seattle's Squire Park neighborhood in early 2011. 4Sb utilized the design expertise of Julian Weber Architect & Design to provide architectural and permitting services. The approved permits allow for 2 single family homes with four bedrooms 3.5 bathrooms with approximatley 2200sf of modern living, a 2 car garage and a huge roof top deck with great 360 degree city view. A portion of the roof deck will provide an area for a roof top garden. 4Sb broke ground on the site about four months ago and are currently in the final steps of framing the home. Hitts Hill Modern Community - Five Unit High Efficiency Eco-Friendly Modern Homes in Columbia City

Benjamin Custom Homes, LLC completed the construction of their 5 unit high efficiency eco-friendly modern homes near Seattle's Hitts Hill Park in Columbia City. The 5, unit project is a Built-Green 4 Star, development sited adjacent to Hitts Hill Park, which provides lush green surroundings and privacy. The homes vary in size, floor plan and finish detail. Each home is a stand alone residence, sited on its own parcel with private paver patio area and fenced yard. The site incorporates grass-crete to assist in the retention of rainfall and reduce the amount of run-off being collected by the public storm management system. The five home are located minutes from Columbia City's historic commercial district with access to restaurants, and other local businesses. bCh - 3715 Seattle Modern Green Home

Benjamin Custom Homes LLC, broke ground on bCh-3715, a 2900sf single family home, near Seattle's Mt. Baker neighborhood, just south of Hunter's Blvd. bCh-3715 is sited on a lot that is sloped to the west. The lot will be leveled off with retaining walls along the western perimeter providing level and usable back yard.

I worked with Benjamin Custom Homes to acquire two parcels on 37th Ave. S. bCh-3715 is the north lot sited in the west side of 37th Ave. S. with views to the west. Benjamin Custom Homes worked with the adjacent neighbor to obtain a side sewer agreement along with excavation easements. The home is designed by Julian Weber Architecture and Design offering the signature bCh modern green home. Once the design and floor plan is finalized the drawings were submitted to Seattle's DPD under the Priorty Green Queue to expedite the process.
